Alisa BR strats plz!

I'll probably be making Alisa my main, cant wait to use her. Post up any discoveries you make! juggles, set-ups, oki etc

Once I get a chance to play i'll post whatever I find out.

3,2 is one of the top 10 for me. spammable.

personally, i dont recommend pulling DES out of nowhere. instead, do moves like 3,2 DES, then mixup to keep them guessing where il be slicing at them haha

f+3+4~b grab_df+2

fly cancel into grabs (like bombhead) or launcher.

4 and d+3 like crazy. (pokity-poke-poke)

im no alisa user but using a bomb throw would be useless, it's such an easy grab to escape...i bet my whole months salary that i can escape that throw with my left eye closed. ngyahahaha!

pretty cheap, but it works...for now, given the new char syndrome of your opps. (unless your opp knows this one too hahaha)

lars has some nasty stuff other characters have... while alisa has d/f+2. lol

she's mid. but don't let that stop you. WR2 is possibly the fastest WR move i've seen in the game... but it's high. and WR34 has some sort of obvious start-up to it that I bet veteran players can easily recognize.

sorry carpe and batista, I was apparently wrong with what I saw, f+3+4 is not the same as any of the previosuly mentioned moves. f+3+4 itself has reaaallly obvious start-up, and if you're listening you'll hear her say ikimasu (go!!).. and if your opponent sidewalks as your flying... death (or just throws out a jab).

Her head throw (u/f+1+2) leaves the opponent far away... meaning no oki unless right next to wall.

d+3 is such a good poke (too bad follow-up ain't NC).

seems like she's a really technical character too.... won't get far with her unless one can do iWR AND iWS (For her u/f+44 B! and maybe d+3+4 once in a bluemoon)

Not having a sweep sucks, but d/b+3 for a high crushing low that's only 11 is great...

now if only d/f+2 crushed more if not at all, and d/b+3 had range we're set

If you're getting pressured, d/b+1~1 (not sure of the notation but she does a backstep that techs highs and follows up with a punch that causes guard stun, delayable btw) can prolly buy you some time

b+24(2) is insanely gay

do we get follow ups after d/b+3+4???

what does d/b3+4 look like? is it the same as her d/b4 sweep on CH?

anyway, ff+2 is also a good dash-in move (with an extention, not sure if both are safe). WR2, although alisa's legs leave the floor, doesn't make her go airborne... case in point: computer grabbed me sometime in between alisa's jetpacks activating and her punch (i actually saw the punch animation start... but still grabbed... meh) -> basically, what I'm saying is if your opponent isn't privy to the animation differences between WR2 and dash 2, you'll get a load of hesitation frames.

last hit of d333 knocks-down opponents. (if people start crouching for the third hit, you could u/f+44)


u/f+44 is nasty by itself even though it's a bit punishable.. can't be interrupted by jabs. but you have to be alert as well. for u/f44 B! , iws12 etc. will work for combos -> but the timing is really strict... my staple is simply uf44 B! f+2, 1 , f+233 -> but this doesn't do loads. f2 misses if you get u/f(4)4 however-> doesn't bound opponent , but not sure what follow-ups are there after... i just do d/b+4 atm cause i'm still new to alisa.

alisa's standing 4 isn't that fast, but it pushes opponent back... sometimes you can net a f+4(blocked)~4 (CH) if your opponent reacts to early.


d/b+1 (backstep)~1 gives a really nice guard stun but it's high and you can't cancel the stance either, which sucks.

HOWEVER! if u do d/b+1~2... it's the unblockable rocket launcher weee! f+3+4, ws+4, b+2,1B!, f+2,3,3 guaranteed after so... lol

Just played alot today:

- I found both while running moves extremely useful: WR2 although high, gives guardstun on block, and gurantees f1+2 on hit. fff3,4 is probably my favourite move of hers(NC tracks both ways and gives wall splat) very deadly if you buffer it out of something like d/f4 on hit.

- Wall carry: f,f3,4 was really useful for me leads to an easy b+2,1_b+4,3 B! f,f+2,3_ss4,1+2 or dash 2,3,3. Post bound near wall db2,2.. I also had one instance where I was able to get B! f,f+2,3 Wall then another f,f+2,3 but i'll have to test that abit more, seemed hard.

- Punishers: 4(pretty sure its 12 frame, gives wall splat) f+1+2(13/14 frame? long range: used it against Steve's DCK2 Miguel's BR u/f+4 etc) Anyone know how fast ws2 is? anyway huge dmg while rising punish: I confirmed ws2 3+4 3, ws4, b+2,1 B! cant be quickrolled if done fast enough.. also if near a wall you can do ws2 3+4, 4 W b+2,1 B! but you have to be just the right distance.

- Also db+4 doesnt gurantee anything(as far as i know) but if they quickstand/roll back f,f+2,3 will stand them up backwards. Or if they stay on the ground uf3+4..

- f,f+2 is launch punishable and pretty sure f,f+2,3 is punishable too(i'll confirm with what soon)

- I also love her grounded 1+2 or 1+2, 3+4(instant low crush). Gives you an extra option as long as you dont use it too obviously you can get out of things like: Steve's 3+4 d+2 db+2 or Miguel's throw into db+1.. along with many many more, some of which can lead to a free launch for you . Very risky though so be careful!

Sorry bout the messy post, i'll try and get some proper testing done within the next few days.

db+1~2, f+3+4, ws+4, b+2,1B!, f+2,3,3 is fun!

FLY cancel into Bomb Throw is good because you dont HAVE to always use the throw

FLY 3 is a low slide. FLY 4 is a launch (like Miguel SAV 1+2). FLY cancel into df+2 etc. yes it may be easy to break. but if you mix up well, you opponent will be thinging about ducking or not, instead of 1+2 if the throw is made.

WR+3,4 is LOVE!

b+1 sets up the FC grab and WS+2, along with anything els you can think off

AFAIK there is no db+3+4. there is a d+3+4. d+3+4 iWS+1,2, f+1, f+2,3,3
